It would have been difficult for Cooler Master not to perform well here, especially with the CPU, which has the benefit of the monstrous front fans as well as a rear 140mm fan, and sure enough it topped the CPU delta T chart with a result of 46°C, beating the mighty NZXT Noctis 450 ROG and Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass, albeit only by a single degree Celsius.
The fans were quite noticeable through the mesh panel, though, but while the decibels were clearly a bit higher than your average enclosed case, the noise wasn't unpleasant with a low hum of airflow noise with the fans at high speed. These can probably be tuned down using your motherboard to near silent levels anyway, and usually only with just a small drop in cooling performance.
The GPU delta T was only 4°C off the best result too at 48°C, matching the Fractal Design Define R6 and Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass. We suspect that had the case lacked a PSU cover, the result might be even better, as this shroud steals half of the airflow from the bottom 200mm fan from the main chamber.
We can't argue with the MasterCase H500P Mesh White's cooling performance, though, which is excellent out of the box, and while the overall look of the case might not be to everyone's taste, the white colour scheme is refreshing, and thanks to some excellent cable management, you have everything you need to build a super-clean air- or water-cooled system, with plenty of scope for kitting the case out with high-end hardware, too. There are drawbacks here, but if you need decent cooling and white is your thing, the MasterCase H500P Mesh White is a good if slightly pricey choice.
